High quality unframed prints of Miranda's work are available for sale

Miranda Lizbeth Taylor was born in Kettering on 24th March 1958, the second child and only daughter of Dr Maurice Brook and his wife Jean Alexis Ormrod. Miranda was educated in Kettering and then at Queenswood School, Hertfordshire. From a young age Miranda painted excitedly and poetically, enjoying working with wax and dyes and other mixed media to make very original artworks. In 1996 she had her first exhibition at the Clapham Picture House. In 2007 she bought her dream home, a small croft house on Loch Kishorn, Wester Ross, and managed to paint there and at her Cotswold home  with huge enthusiasm until she died after a two year battle with cancer, aged 52, on 27th August 2010. Miranda’s gentleness and humour shine through all her art, just as her irrepressible joy shone through her all too brief life. Miranda is survived by her husband , Martin and their  sons, Hugo and George.

This website shows some of her art, reproductions
of which are available to buy.
All sales will help cancer charities.
